Press coverage has been good ...
But we need to find those that still don't know about the proposed pipeline. It's imperative that we continue to build awareness and keep us focused on the current action – calling Mayor Healy's office (201-547-5200) and demand that he seek Intervenor standing with FERC.
We need to put the "boots on the ground" and get the word out in the good ol' fashioned way ... posters and flyers and face-to-face conversations!
We've prepared a poster and two different flyers to make getting the message out all the easier. All you have to do is print and distribute.
1. Hang a Poster in Your Window
Bring attention to the the opposition to the pipeline by hanging a poster in your window. Download the PDF, print, place in your window, and then tell us about it. Better yet, put it in your window, get your neighbors to put it their windows and get your local businesses to put it in their window!
Don't worry if you don't have a color printer, it will look fine in black & white. We kindly ask that you refrain posting on trees and city property.

We have a growing photo gallery of posters over here. May we add a photo of yours? Take a photo and send it to us with this form. Or, we can take the photo. Send a note to us with your address and we'll swing by and snap the photo.
2. Leave Flyers in Your Lobby, at Cafes, or Other Public Places
Do you live in a condo with a lobby? Do you have a coffee shop you go to every morning? Do you know of a business that has flyers set out on a table?
We have a flyer that can help get the word out. Download the PDF, print it, and then cut it into fours. Don't worry if you don't have a color printer, it will look fine in black & white.
Extra impact: If you can do double-sided printing, put the blast radius map on the back of the flyer.

3. Pass Out Flyers
Some of you know about the pipeline because Dale was at the Grove Street PATH station handing out sample letters to send to FERC. You see? It works!
Go to PATH stations, community events or simply a busy street corner and hand out flyers. We need to get the word out and face-to-face interaction is the best way for people to make a connection to the cause. We'll be organizing formal flyering outings, but there's no need to wait for us! Download the PDF, print it, and then cut it in half.
Extra impact: If you can do double-sided printing, put the blast radius map on the back of the flyer.

4. Continue Outreach with Social Media
While doing 1, 2 and 3 above, remember that it's also easy to spread awareness on social media.
- "Share" the posts we make on Facebook with your Jersey City neighbors.
- Retweet our tweets so that your followers see us.
- Send a personal email to your neighbors with a link to our Facebook page, Twitter feed and this website.
- Add a comment to an article about the pipeline with a link back to this site.
- Etc, etc, etc ...
