Despite widespread opposition, the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) prematurely issued draft gas drilling regulations for the Delaware River Basin.  Allowing hydraulic fracturing would gravely imperil the water resources of the Delaware River Basin that serve the basic needs of water and recreation for some 15 million people.

More background here.

The ultimate goal of Spectra Energy is to plow their pipeline through Jersey City to other pipelines. These pipelines snake down from Ontario, the MidWest, the Northeast and all hope to connect gas for ultimate export. The Spectra pipeline wouldn't be needed without the proposed hydro-fracking in the Marcellus Shale that borders the Delaware River watershed. Spectra could dump toxins into our Delaware River by carrying Marcellus Shale hydro-fracked gas.

United for Action, a coalition of which NO Gas Pipeline is a member, ask you to write a letter to the DRBC to protest the approval of hydro-fracking in the DelawareRiver Basin.

Write to the DelawareRiver BasinCommission (DRBC) in Trenton so that it is received by March 16th at 5pm.
