Please see the list below of current actions. Every little bit helps! If you have specific skills that would be useful to the campaign to defeat the pipeline, please be in touch to get involved.
1. Tell Your Neighbors (and Your Virtual Neighbors)
They may not know about it. Bring it up to them when you see them on the sidewalk.
If you are on Facebook, you can help promote the cause by going to our Facebook page, clicking on "Suggest to Friends" under your profile photo, select all your Jersey City friends and then click the "Send Invitations" button.
If you are on Twitter, send out a tweet about the movement and reference @NoGasPipeline when you do.
2. Hang a Poster in Your Window
Bring attention to the the opposition to the pipeline by hanging a poster in your window. Download the PDF, print, place in your window, and then tell us about it. Don't worry if you don't have a color printer, it will look fine in black & white. It will fit on an 8.5"x11" sheet of paper. We kindly ask you refrain from posting on trees and city property.

We have a growing photo gallery of posters over here. May we add a photo of yours? Take a photo and send it to us with this form. Or, we can take the photo. Send a note to us with your address and we'll swing by and snap the photo.
3. Leave Flyers in Your Lobby, at Cafes, or Other Public Places
Do you live in a condo with a lobby? Do you have a coffee shop you go to every morning? Do you know a laundromat, bulleting board you may post or leave flyers? Do you know of a business that has flyers set out on a table?
We have a flyer that can help get the word out. Download the PDF, print it, and then cut it into fours. Don't worry if you don't have a color printer, it will look fine in black & white.
Extra impact: If you can do double-sided printing, put the blast radius map on the back of the flyer.

4. Pass Out Flyers
Go to PATH stations, community events or simply a busy street corner and hand out flyers. We need to get the word out and face-to-face interaction is the best way for people to make a connection to the cause. We'll be organizing formal flyer outings, but there's no need to wait for us! DIY and download the PDF, print it, and then cut it in half.

5. Sign the Petition
Stop Spectra! FERC will release the EIS for final comments. In advance of their doing so, as you only have 45 days to make comments, we're using May 1st as the release of our petition! Downloand and print as many pages as you will. Mail them yourselves OR call Dale Hardman (347-789-7508) for delivery instructions and we'll mail all you collect before the final day. Let's show FERC and Spectra we all say, NO Gas Pipeline!
